'Third Annual Iron Horse Memorial Run' Dad let me borrow his motorcycle (90’ Harley-Davidson FXR) for the memorial ride to Firebird Raceway.  I met up with three other people who I know through my dad.  The ride was the first event for the ‘Arizona Bike Week 2001’.  I heard that there were around twelve hundred motorcycles that showed up.  Let me tell you, there is nothing like having a police escort while cruising down the freeway, in a single lane, two-by-two and having all of the traffic stopped for you.  I still haven’t learned my lesson concerning this Arizona sun.  I got very very sunburned.
