Prescott Arizona For Lunch Anyone?
Tom Clements, Chad, T.J., Dad, and I all flew up to Prescott Arizona for lunch over the weekend.  Ryan wasn't able to join us for the trip because he had to work.  Prescott is only about a thirty or so minute flight from Deer Valley Airport.  Chad, Ryan's cousin from Valdosta Georgia pictured on the left, just moved to Arizona the day before.
Prescott air field has a great little diner filled with everything aviation.  The sealing is covered with plastic airplane models hanging from strings.  The walls are covered with aviation themed art work and pictures.  While the atmosphere is pleasing, the food is a whole other story.  I ordered a 'chicken' sandwich, and I think they brought me one made from a rubber chicken.  The waitress asked T.J. if he would like a to-go-box, and under his breath he said, "Maybe a pine box".
Tom Clements, president and owner of 'Flight Review' in Scottsdale, flew along side T.J. and I on the way to Prescott.  This picture Cessna 180 was taken from T.J.'s plane and I was not using the zoom, that's how close he was to us.
